✨️Senior Spotlight✨️ Jeremy Taboada I am a baritone! I have been in bass choir for 2 years and they have been one of the best 2 years of school. I have had fun with every new and old members of choir. Every time it feels like we are having fun like if we have known each other for years. And the bond that we have is incredible. It always feels like a place where you don’t have to worry about being yourself. If you are serious, goofy, calm, or quiet it just feels like you can be that and everyone will like you for it. And I love that we can have that sort of relationship in that class. And the teachers are awesome. I love that they can help you get better with your singing and you don’t have to be shy of asking them for help. And the way they teach is awesome, honestly I think that out of all the choir classes that I have or will take in the future, Mrs.Kikkawa and Ms.Thompson are the best choir teachers that I have ever had. And I want them to keep that energy and fun in that class and every other classes they teach. Overall this class has really change me as a person, it has made me more social and outgoing. And I know for sure that I will miss this class when I leave, but I will always remember the awesome times and memories I’ve had with this awesome, amazing, wonderful,fun class. Sweet Caroline is my favorite song that I have performed. My favorite high school memory has been spending every second in bass choir and the concerts. Thank you Mrs.Kikkawa,Ms.Thompson,and every bass choir member for making my high school experience more better. I will never forget Bass Choir.

✨️Senior Spotlight✨️ Starr Rivera I am in Treble Ensemble I have been in choir since I was 5. My favorite song that I performed is navidad y año nuevo.

✨️Senior Spotlight✨️ Gus Pope I am a Tenor! I have been in choir for 4 years, bass chorus for 2 and vocal ensemble for 2. I have always loved the winter concerts because I love singing Christmas songs. My favorite song that I have performed is Come Travel With Me My favorite high school memory was my first year of vocal ensemble. Thank you to Mrs. Kikkawa and my parents.

✨️Senior Spotlight✨️ Sydney Parker I am a Soprano 2! I’ve been in choir all four years, participating 1 year in Treble Ensemble as the Treble Ensemble Representative, and three years in Vocal Ensemble. I am one of only two 2024 seniors who have completed 3 years in Vocal Ensemble! My favorite events we’ve done is a tie between the Vocal Ensemble Retreat at Idylwild or the Angel Stadium Choir Nights. I love our retreats and getting to bond as a choir and I love the Angel Stadium nights because I used to do them in middle school and it makes me super nostalgic. I’m looking forward to my final Spring Choir Concert because we get to give our out roses and sing “Never Walk Alone." My favorite song that I have performed is “Awake My Soul” . My favorite high school choir memory was making, performing, and winning first place with the Sopranos’ Harry Potter skit in 2022. I’d like to thank Mrs. Kikkawa and Ms. Thompson for being such wonderful and supportive teachers who have constantly pushed me to be the best performer I can be. Thank you to all of my friends for the wonderful memories!
